how to make church 7 go from zero to hero
by now i think we all know that church 7 is one of the worst tanks currently available in WOT. the tank simply lacks firepower and mobility. and the allmight armor 152mm looks more like 6xmm once one realise the sheer amount of holes in it
now onto the suggestion "insert drums sound"...
give it the 290 spigot mortar, yes that right lets give it one BFG!

290mm dosent mean it will have more dmg than a freaking t92, the mortar round actualyweighted18 kg and carried12kg of explosives, to give you guys an idea kv-2 152mm round weight40kgs and carried 9kg of explosives.
we are talking about a round that at best will do 30-35% more dmg.
dmg: 1100 -1300
pen: nothing since itis a slowflying can, for numbers sake say 10mm
ROF: 5-6 ( much lighter than kv2 152, pleaseread the rest before [edited])
aim time: 3
ark and travel speed: imagin a cruiser 2 with the 3.7, got it? well is going to be worst
splash: 50-100% more than kv2 152
range: 300 mts, yes this will be the first tank gun with a maximun range below 600mts.
note: overmatch should be disabled for this gun, otherwise 290mm will overmatch pretty much everything and will be terribly imba.
why it should be done:
1) becouse church 7 sucks and needs something to **** less
2) playing the cruiser 2 has teach me that high ark howitzers on tanks can fullfit some tasks no other tanks can and would be nice to have higher tier vertions of them.
3)highsplash and ROF will olso give this tank the hability to dig out entrenched tanks or to deal with gangs.
final note: when it comes to brute force the 290mm spigot mortar is not realy better than the kv2 152mm, higherdmg and ROF is completly negated by the lack of pen, range and shell travel speed. this gun dosent shine becouse of its brute force but becouse of its hability to shoot over small bumps, splash entrenched tanks or to detrack an incoming group of tanks.
