An overdue topic
Just had this game in my T-28 Prot, 1 one 1 against a SP. Found aut that u can actually miss the top of its turret or hit too low, for something like 5 or 6 times. But I guess the gun on Prot is not the most precise and its not like face-hugging a SP in a Panther II and shooting over its top also around 5 times with that amazingly accurate german gun. After bouncing off its rear and getting ammo-racked by it, with its first shot
But then I went into the next game, with my AT15 and its 0.3 accuracy gun. Well, it seems that 0.3 gun of his can also hit 4 or 5 the turret of a 100% exposed T-29, while, of course, aiming the hull. So the guy you shot at around 8 times survives the battle with 200+ HP left. The guy will even be rewarded for damage deflection.
And then, into the next game, in the Indien. Happy to flank that AMX 50 100? Well, I shouldn't have been. Autobounce first time I shot him, damaged him once, critical hit him for 0 dmg with my third shot.
Needless to say, all 3 battles were lost.
Now, I can get over constantly dropping win ratio for a month now, even if I found this to be ever more hard to do. But actually having something deliberately put in the game by the developers, that can sheet on your play and, I am certain, way too many times actually decide the fate of the battle, that is something I can't really handle.
The real reason behind such horsesh. idea partially eludes me. I guess, a higher contribution to the game from RNG, will help lower the performance of players that can actually handle themselves, giving the tomatoes 20 more secs of life and making them pay 10 more bucks. You know, like in autobouncing the 1 shot to be dead guy, or hitting his tracks or even leaving him with 1 more HP.
Anyway, the point of this topic is not to whine about RNG, because I know that would be pointless, WG has other plans.
