Let's talk about Wargaming Customer Support and why it's the worst in the business.
If you've dealt with almost literally any other AAA caliber game's customer support you'll note that the experiences are usually positive. If you have a legitimate issue they will likely help you with the goal being customer retention. I'm not sure if Wargaming makes such an inordinate amount of money that their customer support team just literally hates/doesn't care at all about the customers, or if that's just company policy on NA servers(Haven't dealt with the others).
I can think of no other game where when sending in a support ticket I think to myself this isn't going to be resolved, and I'm 90% likely to get a copy paste response that really isn't relevant to the topic, which leads me to think they don't even read the tickets. The goal for them is simply to close as many as possible as they come in.
In League of Legends when they put champions or whatever on discount, if you've bought those things within the last 2 weeks they give you the difference back in a refund. (Obviously this isn't a make or break thing as it's just them being very nice about it). As you can imagine Wargaming basically tells you tough luck, the discount started on so and so date and you bought it the day before.
Ok, sure.
I submitted another ticket for my recent packet loss issues. If you've had any technical issues with this game I feel so incredibly sorry for you as the way my packet loss ticket was handled was incredibly awful. First this issue just started for me making East unplayable in peak and off peak hours.
I received at least 5 responses before I was told to try things on MY end. The pingplotter I submitted clearly shows 30%! packet loss on their end. I was told this is minor. 30% is minor.
Ok.
The long and the short of it is this, I've never in my gaming life (18 years or so of playing games on the internet) had such an awful experience with a customer support for a video game. Ever. I've played games from awful companies too. Awful companies. Wargaming is literally the worst. I've never submitted a ticket in which I felt, this will surely be resolved and I'll be happy again.
tl;dr there is not a worse customer support in the entire industry than Wargamings.
