IS-4, the Russian anvil
Many people overlook this tank simply because the stats on it are not really that impressive. I mean, we are talking about a tank with slow top speed, slow acceleration, a little clumsy on the turns, low pen AP, HEAT as gold rounds, weak frontal armor and a turret that can be overmatched from the top by a lot of guns out there. Still, I believe this tank is just an awesome pub tank.
The frontal armor isn’t great, but the side armor is just amazing. This tank was made for sidegrinding, as long as you can keep your shoulders hidden in the corner.
The gun isn’t great, but it gets the job done with a higher RoF and a slightly better pen than the IS-7. Sure, it fires HEAT instead of APCR, but as long as you can hit a flat surface then you’ll pen most of the time.
The speed isn’t great, but it makes up for that with HP. I mean, this tank can take a beating and it will still keep on running, it’s like having a Lada tank. All that HP allows you to do something that most tanks simply do not: be stupid.
An IS-4 is the tier X equivalent of a KV-1 (but with side armor instead of frontal one), it can survive situations that most tanks wouldn’t. You can make the dumbest mistakes and still come out alive at the end of the battle.
The enemy can hammer you over and over again, but I can tell you, it takes a while for you to die in an IS-4 and (unless you are going for the “special man of the year” award) you can usually **** the enemy before he can finish you off.

That is almost 10% higher WR than any of the other tier X tanks I have…

You can see how many dumb mistakes I made during the first 5min of the battle, up until that **** shot on the E-75, I believe everything I did was nothing but a chain of horrible mistakes.
