My WOT horror story!
Well, today I have a story to tell all of you World of Tanks forum goers. I hope this helps you out, and for the new players not to do what I did! So, it all started out when I first started playing World of Tanks. I slowly made my way up the ranks, trying out new tech trees etc. Eventually I got to the point where I was happy, with an Elited Hellcat, KV-2, Flak Bus, and a few other grinding tanks. I used to love playing these tanks, and racked up around 900 battles combined in my elited tanks.
And then it happened :/ One weekend I started playing (Solo Pub) of course. Friday was horrible, lost about .10% of my Win Ratio. I thought it would go back up on Saturday but it continued to go down. At the end of Sunday I had gone down about .25% and thats when I lost it. Of course I raged for no reason because it really wasn't a big deal. I wouldn't consider it a rage either because I was laughing while doing it :P. Guess it was stupid. I then racked up around 5 million credits was fine to me, but what I did next was retarded.
I bought my T25/2, and Nashorn and i worked out pretty well.. But for some stupid reason I sold them then bought my S-51. After playing my first battle in the Tier 7 SPG, and missing all my shots I sold it, finishing off with 125K CREDITS! I had lost everything, but soon saved up enough to buy my Sturer Emil, which I had researched while playing my Nashorn. I bought it and loved it! I got the Tier 9 gun and loved it more! I even got enough credits to buy my RHM Borsig! Oh how I loved that tank, amazing camo rating and gun! I swore that I would never sell it, and dropped around 300 gold while camp was on sale. But I went full [edited]again :D I sold my RHM after getting owned by a T69, saying that I wanted to work down a Light/Medium/Heavy line aka. the T57 Heavy line. I started out on the line but sold my M5 stuart once I got to it since I wasn't really a fan of it. I proceeded to buy my KV-1 since it was on sale because of the On Track to the IS-7 mission. I saved up 950 000 credits on my KV-1, painfully. And.. I bought my beloved KV-2 again. That's when I realized that I wouldn't have the same beauty as it once was, it went from 19 second reloads to 28, 2 second aim time to stock, and just wasn't the same tank I used to have that repaired its track in 4 seconds.. :( I sold it of course, (PS. this is not done yet) So now I had 350k credits, and no tanks.
What do I do? I buy my T49, thinking I can stat pad with it and make credits at the same time. First game goes horribly, I sell the tank right after. I then bought my M5 Stuart again with the remaining credits, not even having enough left for a Small Repair Kit! (Dear god) I grinded to my M7, and really liked it! But what do I do once I gain credits, and am doing fine with my garage looking like this: M3 Lee, M7, M37 Arty. Obviously, I rage sold the clicker, and had 2 tanks left, with 10k credits remaining. I then realized that I should start off again, and sold my M3 Lee and M7 having just enough credits to buy my KV-1! And here is where I am today. A KV-1 that doesn't even have its max engine yet (No credits to buy it..) and 500 credits remaining. Yes I F'ed up. But hopeful I have learned my lesson, and I don't think I will ever sell a tank again...
PS. For those new players who just started playing, remember: ALWAYS have your Credit Income > Credit Outcome AND THINK BEFORE YOU SELL!
