Daily Discussion Topic: Airfield
Today's discussion topic is the map Airfield (wiki link).
Airfield is an unusual map - while it is classed as an "open" map it contains a lot of short sight-lines and cover from artillery. Only available in standard battle, with teams spawning around G1 and G0, key map points include the E6 area, which is commonly contested by heavy tanks, the central hill at G5/G6/H5/H6, which is exposed but offers great scouting and spotting opportunities, and the J lines between J4 and J7 which affords a flanking route to the other team's base, but is regularly covered by tank destroyers.
